In 2000, the Choir was again invited by the Association to appear at the Millennium Festival of Massed Male Voice Choirs at the Cardiff International Arena. A massed Choir of about 750 voices performed. Another successful tour of Wales and middle England then followed. At Newcastle-Under-Lyme, the Choir was featured on two radio programs on the BBC and our music heard throughout the country.

In Australia, the Choir has performed in most states and made numerous national television appearances. The Choir has performed on the ABC’s Statewide program, the Don Lane Show, Safeway New Faces, the Good Friday Children’s Hospital Appeal and have appeared as a ‘warm-up’ act to Tom Jones at the Glasshouse and Max Boyce at the Dallas Brooks Hall. The Choir has toured extensively through country areas.

In 2001, the Choir undertook a successful tour of Tasmania, raising funds for the Clifford Craig Research Trust. In December 2001, Sian Parry, our Musical Director, travelled overseas and was replaced by our current Musical Director, Anne Credlin.

2002 was a year of many concerts with a particularly memorable concert in which the Australian Welsh Male Choir and the Victorian Welsh Male Choir combined to sing at the Malvern Town Hall to a capacity audience.

2003 is a busy year in which the choir prepares for its forthcoming tour to the UK where we will tour Wales and perform at the 1000 Voice Festival at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  This year also sees plans set in motion for the formation of a branch of the choir in Ballarat.
